Three years at Barking School of Art led to my first job in design at WHS Advertising. Moving on after a couple of years, I took positions in both agencies and design companies and even Yellow Pages, becoming more and more involved in photography.
In the late 70s I became photographer at the busy 3,000 sq. ft. studio of Fidelity in Basildon which led to my setting up my own independant studio in 1984 in Shotgate, Essex, concentrating exclusively on advertising photography. I soon ran out of space, forcing a move to the larger unit in Southfields, Basildon (pictured above).
